Mission Statement:  At Online Business Generator we strive to provide ALL members with the knowledge as well as the latest cutting edge tools to start and maintain a successful online business.

      Online Business Generator opened its doors January of 2005. I had been involved in Internet Marketing since 1999. OBG had been my brain child for several years born from 2 reasons. 1). There was so much information on the internet; it was easy to spend a fortune and still not be any closer to achieving online success. 2). I discovered that if you could find someone who was successful and do what they did, you could be successful too. Which brought me to my next problem; it is easy to find successful people on the internet (or is it just easy to look successful). The big problem is, once you have found someone who is successful, you can buy their knowledge for a price, but do you really get ALL of their knowledge. Do they really disclose ALL of the things that made them successful?

     “What if there was a place where Internet Marketers could gather online and exchange information, suggestions, critiques, and ideas to further everyone’s success?” The dream was born.

     I wrote a book called “Giving Away the Farm to Pay off the Mansion”. During the Christmas Holiday of 2004 I participated in several Holiday JV Giveaways. It was this little book that gave us the kick start we needed and we added over 3,000 members in 120 days. We currently have over 5,000 members that get our newsletter on a regular basis and are involved in Internet Marketing. Through this book I gained a number of great friends and mentors. One such person was my business partner Jesse. He and I were talking on the phone one day about a question he had and I used a point from my book. He said, “Oh you wrote that book, I tried some of these ideas and my conversion rate went to 10%, Thanks.” I ended up sharing with him my vision for OBG. I discovered that he had the same dream so from then on we began to work together to build our dreams. Jesse brought great programming skills to the table, the one thing I was seriously lacking.

     I was not satisfied with the back end system we were using and so we purchased the Butterfly Marketing Software. Through the course of working with Mike Filsaim on some custom needs we had, he introduced me to Valeriu Zarnescu from , one of the original programmers for Butterfly Marketing Script. Val has been a great asset to our team in managing the Butterfly Marketing Script and making sure everything runs smoothly.

     Over the last 3 years that dream has struggled to come to fruition. We have purchased and used 3 very expensive back end systems struggling to accomplish all that I wanted to see accomplished. Finally, I feel that we have the latest cutting edge technology that combines all of the features that we have used over the years to be successful. We are constantly building and updating, but we have everything integrated into one complete system. This system will allow OBG to fulfill its destiny.

     We have been hacked four times. I have learned more about internet security and backup than I care to know. We lost everything twice because of several mistakes by web host admin personnel.

     I quickly learned the importance of the mastermind – that collective group of individuals with the same goals that join each other to share their strengths and minimize their weaknesses. I have the Inner Circle started and hope to start the OBG Mastermind Group soon with those among us that are willing to align ourselves to accomplish mutual success.
